Sign in, reset your password and log out

Most stat keepers stay signed in on their own phone. You'll need this guide when you switch devices, forget a password, or keep stats on a phone someone else uses.

Sign in

1. Go to statscastr.co and tap Sign in.
2. Use the same method you signed up with:
   • Continue with Google, if you signed up with Google.
   • Otherwise, enter your Email address and Password and tap Log in.
3. Your dashboard opens.

If you open a StatsCastr page that needs an account while you're signed out, you'll see Log in to continue. Tap it, sign in, and you're taken back to the page you were trying to open.

If you see Invalid email or password., check the email for typos, and remember passwords are case-sensitive. If you signed up with Google, there's no StatsCastr password: use Continue with Google.

Reset a forgotten password

1. On the Log in form, tap Forgot password?. Anything you typed in the email box is carried over.
2. On Reset your password, check your email address and tap Send reset link.
3. You'll see Check your email. Open the email titled Reset your StatsCastr password and tap its link.
4. On Choose a new password, enter a new password of at least 8 characters, type it again, and tap Save new password.
5. You'll see Password updated. Tap Sign in and log in with the new password.

Changing your password signs you out everywhere else, so sign in again on your other devices. We also email you to confirm the password was changed.

Change a password you know

Signed in and just want a new password? Open Account (tap your name in the header, or Account in the menu on a phone). Under Password, enter your Current password and your new one twice, then tap Change password. See Your account and data.

If the reset doesn't work

• No email? Check spam and promotions folders. The reset link only goes to accounts that have a password; if you signed up with Google, you'll get an email saying you sign in with Google instead.
• This link has expired: links work once, for 60 minutes. Tap Send a new link.
• Asked for several links in a row? We send up to five an hour. Use the newest email, or wait an hour before asking again.
• Use at least 8 characters. or The passwords don't match.: fix the new password and try again.

Log out

Tap Log out at the top of any page in the app. There's no confirmation: you're signed out and taken to the StatsCastr home page.

Log out whenever you've kept stats on a phone or laptop that isn't yours. Anyone who opens StatsCastr on a signed-in device can see and change your teams and games.

Checklist

• Signed in with the same method you used to sign up
