Rosters often include students, so it's worth knowing exactly what StatsCastr shows and to whom. The short answer: your account is yours, and a game becomes public only through its game link.
Short version
Teams, rosters, leagues and seasons are private to your account. Every game has a public page that anyone with its link can open, showing the score, stats, play-by-play and rosters. Change your name, email or password, or delete your account, on your Account page.
What's private
Everything you create belongs to your account: teams, rosters, leagues, seasons, games and the stats you log. Nobody else can sign in and see or change them, and they aren't shared with other StatsCastr accounts.
What the game link shows
Every game has a public page at statscastr.co/g/ followed by the game's number. It's how parents and fans follow along, and anyone with the link can open it without an account. There's no setting to make a game page private.
The page shows:
- both teams' names, colors and records
- the score, the score by period, team stats and player stats
- the play-by-play
- both rosters, with names, numbers and positions
- the season standings, for season games
- PDF and CSV downloads of the box score
Because the link is just the game's number, treat every game as public once it exists. If your school or league has rules about publishing students' names, follow them on your roster: some programs use first names with a last initial, or numbers only.
Change your name, email or password
Open Account by tapping your name at the top right of the header. On a phone, tap the three lines and then Account.
- Name: change First name or Last name under Profile and tap Save changes. You'll see Saved., and the header shows your new name.
- Email address: type the new address under Profile and tap Save changes. You'll sign in with the new address from now on, and we email your old address to let you know it changed. If you see Another account already uses this email., that address already has a StatsCastr account.
- Password: under Password, enter your Current password, then your New password (at least 8 characters) twice, and tap Change password. You stay signed in on this device and are signed out everywhere else. Forgot your current password? Use Reset your password under the box, or see Sign in, reset your password and log out.
If you sign in with Google, your email comes from your Google account and can't be changed in StatsCastr, and there's no StatsCastr password to change.
Delete your account
- Open Account and scroll to Delete account.
- Tap Delete account….
- Type DELETE in the box. The Delete account button only works once you have.
- Tap Delete account. You're signed out and taken to the StatsCastr home page.
Changed your mind before step 4? Tap Keep my account. If you can't sign in to delete your account, email info@eightyfivecreative.com from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- your account and sign-in

Shared game links stop working, and you're signed out everywhere. It can't be undone. Database backups may keep deleted data for up to 30 days before it's gone for good.
Keep a copy first
Download anything you want to keep before you delete your account:
- each game's box score as a PDF or CSV, from the game's page (Download a PDF or CSV box score)
- a team's season stats as a CSV, from the team page's Team stats tab
