Season stat leaders for each sport

The leader cards for each sport, which games count, and how the averages are worked out.

Updated October 18, 2026 · 4 min read

Every season page has a Stat leaders section under the standings. Each card shows the top five players for one stat, with the leader's number in large type. Leaders are built from the plays you log, so there's nothing extra to do.

Short version

Open the season page (League → View standings) and scroll to Stat leaders. Only final games in the season count, and a play counts only when you picked the player for it.

Where to find them

  1. Tap League in the header.
  2. Tap View standings, or Standings → next to a season under All seasons.
  3. Scroll past Standings to Stat leaders.

With two or more seasons, switch between them with the season list at the top right of the season page.

In hockey, field hockey and lacrosse, points are goals plus assists. In baseball and softball, the last three cards are for pitchers, and ERA ranks the lowest first.

Which games and plays count

  • Final games only. Live and scheduled games are left out until you tap End Game. Football is the exception: its leaders also include plays from games that are still live, so football numbers can move during a game.
  • Season games only. Scrimmages don't count. See Scrimmages.
  • Players on teams in the season. A player whose team isn't under Teams in season won't appear.
  • Plays with a player. A play only counts toward a player when you picked them for it. Team-only plays (when you skip the player) count in the box score but not here.

Corrections count too. Edit or delete a play after the final, and the leaders rebuild. In soccer, player-stat edits made on the game page are used as well, and in football, quarterback stat edits are.

Football leaders come from the QB and RB panel plays. Totals typed into the Passing and Rushing quick stats don't count here, and a TD quick stat credits no player. See Keep football stats.

How the numbers are worked out

  • "/ Game" and "/ Match" cards are averages: the player's total divided by the number of games in which they have at least one play logged. A player with 20 points in one game and nothing logged in the next has 20 per game, not 10.
  • Soccer and football cards are season totals, not averages.
  • Percentage cards (Field Goal %, 3-Point %, Free Throw %, Hitting %) have no minimum number of attempts. A player who's 1 for 1 shows 100% and can top the card.
  • Each card shows the top five. Equal values keep the order the players were found in; there's no tiebreak.

When a card says No data

No data means nobody has a counted play for that stat yet. Check that:

  • the season has at least one Final game
  • you picked players on the plays, not only the team
  • the players' teams are in the season

For how to pick the player on each play, see Log stats live.

Checklist

  • Players picked on each play, not only the team
  • Every team in the season added under Teams in season
  • End Game tapped on finished games so they count
  • Small samples kept in mind on the percentage cards
